I’m kind of obsessed with organization and productivity. For many years I was addicted to Tasks in Gmail, but when I switched to the iPhone I found there was no elegant and free way to use Tasks anymore.
Then I found Wunderlist which is an amazing task app that I’ve become obsessed with. I performs largely the same function of Google Tasks but is beautifully packaged and can be accessed on your phone, computer or on the web. I really can’t recommend it enough for helping to keep your life organized.
Wunderlist is new to me! Thanks.

hey did you guys know that i got a Dear Sugar tattoo on friday? from #41, Like An Iron Bell:
“Do you realize that your refusal to utter the word love to your lover has created a force field all its own? Withholding distorts reality. It makes the people who do the withholding ugly and small-hearted. It makes the people from whom things are withheld crazy and desperate and incapable of knowing what they actually feel.
So release yourself from that. Don’t be strategic or coy. Strategic and coy are for jackasses. Be brave. Be authentic. Practice saying the word love to the people you love so when it matters the most to say it, you will.
We’re all going to die, Johnny. Hit the iron bell like it’s dinnertime.”
That’s awesome.
This is what my home page looks like, and I’m hoping you’ll post yours, too, Maud. I do use my tablet for work-related reading more than anything else, which is why NetNewsWire (for RSS feeds) and Instapaper (for the more substantive stories from those feeds) are in first place.
People…
I’ll be following this cool Tumblr.

As Trevor Gilbert notes on PandoDaily, the “best dock for the iPhone” project has now surpassed $900,000 in backing and is closing in on LunaTik’s (you know, the awesome iPod nano watch) record of $942,578 with 3 days to go.
If you want to know how much thought and care was put into the Elevation Dock, just watch the video on the Kickstarter page by creator Casey Hopkins. He out-Apple’d, Apple. Let’s push this thing to the record.
Backed! This thing looks awesome.
Awesome. Backed.
Backed back in the day. Glad to see it’s continuing to scale so massively.

This is a great deal that I wish was open to current Zipcar members. I’ve gotten a lot out of my Zipcar membership this year.
