Guess what’s starting a week from today? Oh, just the Summer Scrabble League.

If you have any intrest in feeling good about yourself simply because you know words, join in the fun! Here are the logistics:

• Every Wednesday at 6:30pm beginning June 10th.
• Regular season runs for six weeks, with playoff being two weeks.
• Point system: Anyone above a certian amount of points at the end of six weeks makes it to playoffs. Miss a week, miss the points. All player points will be added to the Summer Scrabble tumblr each week.
• Players: Open. If you don’t want to compete, just come and have fun. If you start up mid season, you have make up the points if you want to win.
• Rules: Whatever it says on the box.
• Where: Tables on the northwest corner of Washington Square Park.
• Prizes: Beats me.

So bring your Scrabble boards (if you’ve got them) along with your best game plan. Also, if you want to bring food, drinks, or snacks that would be lovely. See you then!
