Root Illustrated / “City of Glass”, a set of three illustrations for Paul Auster’s City of Glass, about a writer who always follows his feet.

These are awesome.  While I wouldn’t have said that City of Glass is a novel about a writer who always follows his feet (maybe that it’s about how what you pretend to be becomes what you are?), the New York Trilogy is one of my favorite pieces of post-modern fiction ever.

City of Glass is really really awesome. If you’re into it, you should pick up the sanctioned graphic novel treatment - simply stunning.
