My parents office is currently in their car. Laptop hooked up with an extension cord only picks up a signal in the driveway. And this is not considered strange in any way to them. They also keep the printer in the car.

Just wonderful. They’ll do whatever it takes to make their old way work, rather than ever consider a newer way, because this way still works.
