*NEW* THE BOONDOCK SAINTS 2: ALL SAINTS DAY MOVIE TRAILER (via aandbcards)
I was in 11th grade maybe? This is around 2000. My friend Pat tells me there’s a movie I have to see, The Boondock Saints. He says it’s the best movie he’s ever seen.”Better than Resevoir Dogs?”, my standard at the time.
“Better,” he promises. I buy it the next day and watch it that night. It was amazing. Two years later, I met who is to become my best friend in college, because he too loved The Boondock Saints. There is talk about a sequel. I sometimes think to check the internet.
Last night, I find out that there’s a trailer. This morning, I watch it. It looks ok (original actors, same Troy Duffy, could be decent). And it’s coming out in less than 60 days. I would’ve loved to see the original in theaters (I did drive an hour to peep it in a UDel theater once) and now I can see this one.
I used to keep a stack of TBS next to my register at FYE. It was only $10. I’d tell customers that they should buy it, that if they didn’t like it to come back and I’d get their money to them. No one ever came back.
I don’t think I’ll see it. Simply because, as we all agree, they need to leave the Saints alone.
^this. i feel like it’s going to be a disappointment.
lot of “meh” from this...Really bad sequel stuff like “I didn’t know he had
Are you kidding?...looks horrible. It’s such...Disney...
