Philadelphia Eagles shoot this week!

I’m not skipping work for Staten Island, but you’re sure welcome to:

Hey, Eagles fans! We are currently shooting a movie, “Big Fan”, starring Patton Oswalt. It’s a realistic comedy about football fans.
We need to fill up a sports bar in Staten Island this Wednesday and Thursday with Philadelphia Eagles fans for a big scene.
Can you make it to the set to perform as an extra, for one or both days? We need to have people there from 9:30 am until 7 pm. We need the most people on Wednesday, but if you can make it both days, that’s great. If you could spread the word to all of your friends, that’s great too. Everyone is welcome!

If you have any Eagles jackets/jerseys/caps, please wear them to the shoot.

You take the Staten Island Ferry from the southern tip of Manhattan. The 1, 4, 5, R, and W trains are there, at the South Ferry/Whitehall St./Bowling Green stations. The ferry leaves every half-hour, and takes about 25 minutes to arrive in Staten. From there, you take the 51 bus, which goes down Bay Street. Sharkey’s Bar is on Bay St. between Hylan Boulevard and Maryland Avenue. It’s a 10 or 15-minute bus ride to the bar from the ferry station.
