You decide.
Hey Heritage? Can we make a deal? I’ll back a cut to Corporation for Public Broadcasting in the same percentage that you back a cut to the military industrial complex. Alternatively, can we agree to limit increases in military spending over the current sequestration amounts to the amount of money we spend on the Corporation for Public Broadcasting?
I care a whole lot more about the military budget cuts. We spend way too much on our military—and the idea that we can’t reduce military spending even after a war ends is absurd. Comparing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting budget with the military budget as if the two are even remotely close to each other is a pretty good sign that neither Heritage nor Romney is serious about the deficit reduction talk.
TRUTH.
