N Train Derails Near West 57th Street

I knew there was a good reason I didn’t leave my house today. Not that I’d be going anywhere near 57th Street anymore… Or taking the N for that matter. I haven’t dont that commute since October 2007. And I like it that way.

 Ahh, but the train that derailed was Brooklyn-Bound. It’s still very safe to travel TO Astoria. And considering I took the N downtown on the way in this morning, like every morning, incident free, I’m back to blissfully commuting on the regular.
