Jon Lester, 24 years old, in his second year back with the Red Sox after recovering from lymphoma, just threw a no-hitter.

Extreme props to ESPN for cutting to the NESN feed for the top of the 9th.

Note to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver: note how at no point did the NESN announcers mention “no hitter” until the game was over. 




You have to get choked up watching any young pitcher and his team deliver a no-hitter.
