Wow. If I had one, it’d be that Amazon takes a loss on most books they sell (and certainly most ebooks) and no profit on devices, just to keep you locked in as a customer for life. If I had two, this would be the other.
It’s extremely difficult to sell a new book. It’s 80% word of mouth from people whose tastes you trust. Even harder then to get that person to read it once they have it.
