This is total bullshit. Earlier, all over tumblr, people were treated to two word clouds made from Obama’s and Mccain’s blog feeds. Didn’t anyone else think it was weird that Obama’s name wasn’t even in his word cloud. Something was obviously manipulated. Above is the accurate word cloud made on wordle with the same feed the Brooklyn Art Project claimed to have used. There’s nothing wrong with Obama having his name in his blog. Especially when you look at how prominent other words (people, volunteer, college, energy) are. However, we don’t have to go out of our way to make him look like a saint, just for the exposure. The Brooklyn Art Project should be ashamed of their actions. And to the overly trustful tumblr faithful out there, let’s be a little more careful before jumping on the bandwagon.
