Love him or hate him, Harry Knowles is a true pioneer in the field of online entertainment journalism. His popular website Aintitcoolnews.com was one of the first sites on the internet to really start scooping stories, news and spoilers from Hollywood and putting it into a forum accessible to the public. He’s a big film nerd. In fact some might say the biggest, metaphorically and literally. I personally don’t agree with all of his reviews but I respect him 100% for what he does. I think this is a book anyone with a deep love for film, TV or nerd culture absolutely should read. It’s a fascinating look into what drives a person who has dedicated their life to something they love. It’s a great example of how someone can go from home fanboy to someone with actually pull in Hollywood and their writings and opinions are respected and talked about. I’m really enjoying this book more than I would have ever expected to.
