Weekend Update

I picked (so far) 7 for 11 against the spread today (compared to my roommate’s 4 for 9) and the biggest two payoffs was the Pats & Bucs parlay (I won $150!), my first big bet of the season.

I’m close in both of my two fantasy teams, with a lot riding on tonight’s final outcome and tomorrow’s game in general.

Yes, the Eagles lost and it crushed me (again), but they played terribly and didn’t deserve the win the Redskins wanted more. Now we sit (again) at the bottom of our incredibly successful and competitive division, but I know we’re still a good team that just can’t come through in the clutch or close on big drives into the red zone. But there are 11 games left in the regular season and I’m not giving up, at all.

Overall, a rather dismal looking Sunday had a golden lining to it. Except that I have to be at the Lincoln Center at by 6am tomorrow to set up for a 7am conference.
