JamesNord at Flight001 really hooked me up before my Vegas trip and I wanted to share with you just what I thought of the two products he let me try out.
For those of you that haven’t been lucky enough to have walked past a Flight001 store in Manhattan or Brooklyn, Flight001 is a what I would call a modern design take on traveling products and equipment. The store draws you right in and you’re suddenly browsing super cool luggage, maps of everywhere, neat ideas and toys to take on your next trip. Like a bookstore to a bibliophile, Flight001 is crack to a modern traveler with an eye towards design and innovation.
I was set up with a Spacepak for Clothes and Toiletries:
Flight 001’s Spacepak® Clothes maximizes case space while achieving maximum compression so you can always carry on and avoid the baggage claim. Using this system allows garments to undergo double compression and organization with 1 side for clean laundry and 1 side for dirty laundry. 16in X 11.25in X 4.25in
Spacepak® Toiletry maximizes case space, achieving maximum organization so you can always carry on and avoid the baggage claim. With its numerous mesh pockets, compartments, and a hook for hanging, the Spacepak® Toiletry is the ultimate travel case.
11in X 7in X 4in (closed)

This is what each looked like upon purchase (click through, dashboard readers!). I liked the packaging!

And when I took them out and opened them up, this is what they looked like then:

I had never really thought about packing this way, but the clothes pack laid out the best way to fold each article of clothing, when I was then able to zipper into the very compressed square gray pack. Everything fit! And I thought the Clean/Dirty compartments were pretty clutch. Once I had my clothes in the pack, the pack fit neatly into my bag, so instead of cluttered mess of clean and dirty clothes, I had it all together in a removable pack.
And same for my toiletries. I usually just throw stuff into a ziploc baggie, but this two sided netted case made it each to separate each item as well as fit larger bottles of gel, etc. I liked it for how simple and perfect it was to take in and hang in the hotel bathroom once I got there. I’d recommend this Spacepak system for people looking to better organize and maintain their travel space.
You can buy at any of the FLight001 locations or shop online.
