PRICE IS RIGHT UPDATE! (I need the red Drudge siren.) You might remember the guy who got the exact price of the Showcase Showdown from earlier this week. Well, Midwestern’s Guide To Living In New York City did some research, and it turns out that our friend Terry really was fed the answers. But because it came from some guy in the audience, it doesn’t count as cheating.
The quote: “Since the show aired, a regular viewer has stepped forward claiming that he memorized the values for many of the commonly used prizes and signaled the total showcase value to Terry. This individual, known only as Ted, also claims to have helped Sharon win a car earlier in the episode.”
I still prefer my Slumdog Millionaire theory.
Hahaha - here’s how it would go down:
Terry, running from his abusive slave owner, stops in front of a store window just as the store clerk hangs a price sign over a brand new showcase, pauses, then continues running. ::cut ahead to Price is Right stage:: Terry says: “$23743, Drew.”
