Am I the only one who thinks this “testing to see if there’s a need for testing” and then not actually DOING anything about positive results will be the ultimate killer for Major League Baseball?

One day, somebody will write a really good book (or even a business school case study) about the steroid debacle and the role that the MLBPA’s insane level of control/power played in it, and then tie it all back to the collusion scandals of the 1980’s that had so much to do with the MLBPA becoming the tyrannical, self-destructive monster it is today.
